What TV did you watch as a kid?

I remember watching the six million dollar man and the bionic woman. At the time I thought they were ok but today they look so lame.

I met Lindsay Wagner when we were in high school. She was a couple years younger than me and nowhere near as glamorous at 15 as she became later.

My dad had quite a temper. I recall a show coming on where a boy heavily kissed a girl. Dad got mad, ripped the TV out and tossed it in the front yard. True story. I wonder what he would do about the stuff on TV these days.

My dad never threw the TV, but one time I forgot and left my new Neil Diamond album on his "at the time" Hi end Sony turntable /AM-FM/ 8 Track home stereo, and he turned it on and thought is was going to be the Marty Robbins album he had last played.

My brand new album made it about 200 feet into the Horse field as a frisbee... I sang" Song Sung Blue" until I found my "Rock and Roll hippy album".

Charles Kuralt, "On the Road". Love this show. I have the 3 disc set with all of the shows. This was really good television that highlighted so many Americans and things they did all over the states.
