The first 90 days post merger were full of surprises and they still pop up years later...IMPO, if the buyer's m/a team overlooked paying the regular monthly phone bill, that's squarely on them.....absolutely no good reason to have to call the CEO to have gotten a regular monthly phone bill paid.
ATT was out to convert a DSL line to fiber this week...
We don't have DSL and none of the hospital tenants have DSL...
Yet in the MPOE there is a DSL line corporate has been paying for they installed at the time of the merger...
We ran a lean and effective operation with everything in house... I could walk to accounts payable to expedite a payment or put one on hold... also resolve any patient issues on the spot or same day... a great service.
Now it's all online and a large segment of our patients are not online... mostly elderly and especially elderly with language issues.
I know it is the future and the future has arrived...
