I have everything I "need". HOWEVER - there are times I wish my Kubota had a cab. And then there are all the other times when I'm glad it doesn't.

No, you NEED a tractor with a cab and another without.

I’m the same. Cabs are very nice but not practical when working in trees.

The full glass enclosure maybe not so much but a 4 post canopy is a literal lifesaver when working around trees.

I have a canopy on my M6040. It does well in the summer heat. When plowing snow on my mile long driveway - the leading lip will catch the snow filled branches and dump it all in my lap.

I've developed a cure for this also. An eight foot long 2x4 clamped to the grapple. Raised vertically - it causes the snow to dump PRIOR to the drivers seat. I still get a "dusting" but not the bulk of it all.

All the following are "practical" for me, but "fiscally practical" may be a more appropriate term.... :ROFLMAO:

-Backhoe
+1 on that. I'd love to have one, but tough to justify the cost. I've kept my eyes open for used, but they're either a 3PH model, need $5k in repairs or almost the cost of a new one.

Not so great when the only covered place you have to store it has a relatively low roof. At least the ROPS folds down.
Not sure a cab would be practical...lots of what I do entails a lot of getting on & off, on & off. Never gets hot enough here to need A/C, and cold doesn't really bother me that much (about all I use it for in the winter is plowing the driveway and it rarely snows when it's brutally cold).

Always admired a "Excavator", do I need one, maybe for a hour once in several years.... But it's on the toy list.... Maybe I will rent one for a day to get over the fascination....
What I could really use is a scraper blade for behind my MF GC 1715 CUT.... One that has angle and tilt....

You just need to build a pole barn for your tractor and any new toys (ahem implements).

Don't do it....they are like potato chips, once won't be enough.

I think for me a power rake/harley rake is tops. Hydraulic limb saw.

Not an implement per se but my actual dream which is not financially justifiable is a compact/subcompact(?) telehandler.
