What TV did I watch as a kid? Nothing because we had no TV. But we had a lot of other activities outside the house going on with other kids. Did I miss it? No, hard to miss something you never tried and we had too much fun going on playing outside and building and creating things

One of the saddest things experienced was, I responded to an ad for a Trinitron TV that were at the time, in the early '80's the best display for home computers. I ended up at an apartment that they were selling everything, and desperate for money. I really wanted this TV.
As I was buying it, this little girl, I assume it was a daughter, said, "Please Don't sell the TV Daddy!" It broke my heart. I bought the TV any way at full asking price. And did most of my earlier work on that display before being able to afford getting a real composite monitor.
It still bothers me today though, that I took this away from her.

Biggest disappointment was after watching years of Disney on Sunday nights on a B&W TV...and finally on a color TV seeing the (magic) wand touch the castle and turn on all the colors...very disappointed after all those years of wishing...!

One of the local stations used a peacock with paint brushes for a tail as a logo. I never realized what it was supposed to be, until after I got out of HS.
