But a lot of them were from out of country. They didn't have to go by the same rules that Americans are bound to. Our guys are hamstrung by rules and foreigners drill like it's 1940
Did I read this correctly? If you are in Arizona it doesn't matter who owns the drilling rigs; they still need to abide by our laws.

AR I'm in Arkansas by the Haynesville shale. No they don't have to go by our rules.

That doesn't even make sense. The EPA rules apply to any waters in this nation. It doesn't matter who is doing the work, or who owns the well. A violation as blatant as you describe should result in them getting shut down immediately.

Nope, they use out of country companies because they don't have to follow our rules. See it all the time. Mainly Chinese, Australians, Ukrainian. Talked with two fresh Ukrainian guys last week. One of them had only been here three weeks, other one a little longer. Spoke enough English we could communicate. Helped fix flat on their trailer. It's all just part of bringing us down.

That's pure BS. It doesn't matter what country they are from, our laws do apply to them while operating on US soil. For whatever reason they simply aren't being enforced.

Pretty simple fix to that...
Impose the same rules on all companies everywhere... but we all know someone (a big American company) is making to much money and have lobbyists that won't let that happen.

No because the maker of the rules can choose who has to follow the rules. Same deal as a policeman can let you go or write you a ticket.

That's why I said that the rules aren't being enforced. It has nothing to do with what country that they are from. When operating on our soil they need to abide by the same laws as the rest of us.

If they really are as blatantly as bad as you say I would have no qualms about filing a complaint. That's YOUR water they are destroying, as well as any fish which live in the streams they are dumping into.

If solar panels were built like roofing panels and served both functions for residential homes, it wouldn't be obnoxious to me. But then there are those who hate metal roofing and think everything has to have asphalt shingles.
I ended up not getting a system because it didn’t pencil out for my situation, but I didn’t want one on my roof and was considering either putting them on post mounts, or even building a useful carport type structure using panels for the roof.

Yes they do. The state issues drilling permits with regulations and stipulations. They don’t have one permit for domestic drillers and another for foreign drillers. It sounds like lax enforcement more than anything else. Or the enforcement officers are being bribed.
