The manufacturers and dealers appear to be very focused on selling new units and financing is the way to get it done I suppose because many customers are going to use financing instead of paying cash.
Indirectly, they can gradually kill off used machines by not continuing to provide parts for them. Or the cost of repairs is so expensive that some customers would rather finance a new tractor than pay a chunk of cash for a repair and then the tractor needs more work later and/or parts for the next unanticipated repair may no longer be available.
