As for goldenrod honey, yuck. My son’s bees have at times went crazy on the goldenrod and he couldnt give it away.

Wife and I spent a week in Kentucky a couple years ago doing state parks. They are all FREE!! Some really nice areas. Seems the entire state is rolling and hilly. Really pretty. I have lots of family in Kentucky south of Cincinnati.

Found another 52 acre property for the same price. The land is a bit more accessible. Has fewer challenges to overcome. It has the same amount of cleared and cut acreage as the 33 acre plot (26 acres cleared). More options for building sites. It’s on a long private drive that is 2500 feet from the main road. Rolling hills. Some bottom land. Creek. No flood plain. Only able to Google Earth it now, but I’ll see it in a few weeks.

Closer to family. Close to a church we love. More acreage to support a small farm in my retirement. My now 8 acres won’t support all of that. I think my current 48hp tractor will be sized well for it too.
