Must not have been recently because like you, scrappers have done a good job there as well. Off to the scrap yard and then off to China....lol
Yeah, that has happened everywhere. Junk cars are worth money now.

^^^ Maybe why afterb3 years the city is finally tagging and towing junkers from city streets…

In our area, scrap steel goes to the steel mill in El Paso where they manufacture rebar and ball bearings, or the steel mill in Pueblo where they manufacture railroad rails.

Around here, Omni Source gets the bulk of the scrap, which they shred and it either goes to Steel Dynamics in Butler, Indiana or gets offshored to I presume China.

I recently paid a visit to my local dealer to find out what type of pricing they had going on tractors. During my conversation with him he tried to make me believe that he doesn't have enough inventory when his yard is filled to the brim and has been since last year. His pricing was just as stupid. My conclusion is you can't deal with this guy. I have on the other hand seen deals starting to pop up. Pricing corrections are beginning to show up now depending on where you shop.

Our scrap goes to Algoma who turns it into new GM products, LOL

One dealer about 60 miles from here had been asking $25K for some used compact mini stand on track loaders (25hp 1200 hours). I noticed he's cut the prices down to about $15k on his website.

Prices on used stuff will be more likely to move than new. Seems more people are having dealers pass on taking trades. It's hard to sell compared to a couple of years ago. That new stuff they need to hold and hope economy improves.

That's funny, I'm watching this on my television at the moment.

He makes some valid points, but also has some obvious bias; I also don't think the companies he most wants to see gone are going to be going anywhere. I don't see Kioti or TYM leaving the U.S. market any time soon.

Regarding that Cub Cadet, it's a Daedong DK series? Couldn't parts be found from a Kioti dealer?
