Who is excited for snow season? Not us! We're depressed due to lack of snow.

Yea, got the same sloppy mess here. 6" total snow, then raining on top of it mushed it all down to 1/2" by noon yesterday. Thankfully the driveway has a good base so the water runs into the rock base and flows away from the driveway.
Waiting for colder weather and some of the real winter to show up.

Our previous 10” snow all melted away, but it’s been snowing since last night. Looks like about 4-6” and still coming down. I’ll probably just let it compact And not plow it. Unless it gets to 10” like last storm.

Our local weather stations are doubting we will have a white holiday. It has been warm and DRY....too dry. We are still way behind on moisture and need anything wet like snow or rain. We could use a good ole Arly snow to help us out.

It is 54 and raining here. We've had two flurry days, but it's been warmer than normal.
Still have bugs out at night.
No snow in the forecast and most days reaching the 50's for the 10 day.

It's snowing here now. Will amount to nothing and 40s in a couple days.

I don't think I'll treat snow any different in retirement as I do today. I like it. I want to go cross country skiing without having to drive a few hundred miles. I want to walk on a lake and cut a hole in the ice.

I think I would prefer to be found dead, frozen on my ice bucket, than to be found dead rotted in a corn field like a road kill deer carcass, ribs sticking out for the critters to gnaw on.
