This screams of ponzi.
We moved to our remote property with our very nice 5th wheel RV, while having a contractor and architect drawing up plans for our dream house, but power was unavailable without a building permit. So, researching options, I found a hybrid solar trailer that had huge forklift batteries, 2 6400w inverters, MidNite solar PV charger/power supply, and an 11K Kubota generator to fill in when the sun ain't shining, at less than half the cost of utility power. We're in Oregon, so lack of sun's real common in Winter. It was large enough to (barely) power the house we were going to build, but would have sufficed for a while.
The link is to an article how a Joe Shmoe auto mechanic utilised government handouts to large corporations for going "Green", even though the product was unrelated to their industry, and duped the Gov and major investors into his scheme.
That little lake villa of Ted's ain't **** compared to Jeff's DC Solar's party time.
