What did I find on the farm?

Worked in thenOrchard today. As we were putting g away tools in the shed, I saw this in the dirt. Gave it a kick and dug it out. My first thought is that it came off one of my implements. I should check both augers. It looks like it
Could be an ornamental spike on top of a fence or tip on something, for digging but I don’t readily recognize it.

Yeah, that looks to be correct. I don't know where it came from, because I don't own one of those.

it was down near the pond where I turned an old 8x8 hunting shack into a tool shed. there was a bunch of overgrown brush and mountain laurel there and I pushed that all out with the tractor, the first day that I had it. I know there is very old barbed wire fence line on the perimiter of the place, and I assumed there were cows here at one time. The Spruce pine that I pushed down to build the orchard in 2016 were about 60 years old. I guess it's just another mystery.
