I ended up getting an Arrow (Shelter Logic) from Lowes. I looked at all the different brands like Versatube and the like but the price of them was more than I could justify, especially since this will be temporary until I can put up a building. Was on sale until today for $1,200

Good score. I've been bouncing between the brands-Arrow being one of them. One of these days I need to just order something.

This week's purchases
12 gallons of Husqvarna bar and chain oil for $13 a gallon. Couldn't resist the price and it's decent year round oil IME.
A 12K BTU U Shaped air conditioner
A small shop vac for the garage.

Nice! I used to maintain our kids' little league park, as well as my wife's church's ball diamond. Biggest project was restoring a long neglected T-ball diamond.

This is what I and another dad had to start with....

Pretty satisfying and not too bad for two guys in their spare time.

We bought 10 moving quilts and a bunch of tie down straps. Kids are moving again. 🙃

I picked up an old(ish) 5 foot rotary cutter (aka bush hog) for $200. Got it identified with help from this forum. Not rusted out - one slice in the rear from a blade. The seller said it leaks at the base of the gearbox. PTO shield is missing. It needs a vented fill plug to relieve the pressure when hot (I think that's all). I'll touch up the blades and make sure the attaching bolts/nuts are good. I replaced the grade 5 bolt with a grade 2, for the sheer bolt. May have to cut the PTO shaft. Haven't hooked it up to the tractor yet...

I tried out the foam cannon today. A couple of reason I bought this. The first is cost, car washes here keep jacking up prices. The second is the quality of the wash. Just an estimate but I’m probably saving about $5 every time I wash at home. I’m hoping water spots don’t become an issue. My wife’s car is pretty forgiving being silver, we will see how it does with black paint.

I have a soft water spigot outside of my house for car washes. Otherwise I get spots pretty bad. I'll wait for you review on the foam cannon. Thanks. (y)

I have a soap cannon, works great. Mine goes on the pressure washer.
I also built a filter for a spot free rinse. A 4" x 20" water softener cartridge, then a 4" x 20" deionizing cartridge.

I’ve kicked around buying some kind of water softener setup for car washes but I’m trying it without. I bought a TDS meter and tried it in my house which has a softener. The water showed a higher reading after the softener than the raw water coming in the house. I actually almost called the softener company but then I read online where that’s normal. The softener removes the “undesirable “ hardness but doesn’t lower the TDS. The water is better as far as spotting goes with the rural water we have now than the well water we used to have.
