Agree.

My local farm hydraulic/bearings shop has had all the seals I've needed for the loader on my YM240. The loader was probably dealer installed but its a Great Bend, a company later bought by BushHog. I phoned BH and the only support they offer is to sell me a Operator Manual for their current models.

My US-made backhoe was sold as OEM by both Yanmar-USA and Kubota-USA. Like the loader, it is made from generic American parts and this local hydraulics shop has had any seal or fitting that I've needed.

Thanks for the info and yes my loader and backhoe are painted yanmar green and were purchaced as an assembly. If anyone has the specs on seal kits for the backhoe that would be great. also how well does the backhoe work? i had to remove mine and attach.3 pt.

Works fine, but my typical use (digging stumps etc) isn't heavy duty. The BH I found is painted for Kubota but its the same BH sold as OEM Yanmar.

The YBH700 and YBH736 was built by ARPS.
The backhoe in your photo is not a YBH700 nor a YBH736. It appears to be a YBH600 which was built by Danuser. I believe Danuser was bought out by WOODS, who discontinued it and began producing the BH660 and BH760 series.

My unit says made in chicago is this ARPS.? and are they still in buisness?
i have a mini excavator so I thought about selling the backhoe but figured it probably worth more to me than what I might get for it. with the under carage mountinv system it seems like it would be a nice unit. I guess i am just spoiled with the mini ym271

Yes, my backhoe with Kubota K-650 tag on it is identical to Yanmar YBH-600 backhoes I've seen in Ebay auctions. Here are pix from one. (My BH is a little cleaner than this auction one!)

Danuser! I've heard that name suggested but I never knew if it was right. Thanks! Did you work on these back in the day?

I only sold a couple of the YBH600 backhoes, they were only available with three point hitch mounting. Most customers preferred the frame mount YBH700 and YBH736.
If Crown Products doesn't have the seals you are looking for, try Hercules Sealing Products in FL.

Wow it has been 12 years since I posted this and I still have the tractor, loader and backhoe. Just couldn't part with it. I hope to find time to rebuild the backhoe one day. Has anyone adapted there loader to a quick attach?
