Kubota BX2660
Subsequent to all the hassles of changing the fuel filters, now trying to get her to start. She's been on a battery tender for several days and battery voltage is reading 12.7. However, when I turned the key just to the on position, that worked fine for 3 times, then when I went to actually crank it, the moment I hit the "on" part, I head a click and now there is no battery voltage anywhere. Checked all the fuses in that block by the battery (10-20 amps per fuse), all the fuses were fine according to the multimeter. Checked the levers and everything was in safety mode (I HATE the nanny switches on this beast!.)
I'm as a loss as to what to check now, and I'm not sure how to check the ignition switch itself. Is there a (safe?) way to bypass the main ignition switch and still be able to start and run her?
Thanks.

Fixing this:

It could be that your starter solenoid is not engaging.

It could also be that the battery has a broken cell causing the issue.

Remove the battery and have it checked with a battery load tester.

If it lacks continuity/ohms you need a new battery.

If the battery is good it's time to send the starter to a rebuild shop for a
repair estimate or just replace it.

I wish kubota and the others would use RACOR fuel filters with 2 micron
filters and heating elements as it would solve a lot of problems.

Did the tractor have starting issues before you changed the fuel filters? Did you load test the battery? Bench test the starter? Check/clean grounds & hots? Check voltage at the starter lug? Jump the solenoid? Lots of possible causes & different fixes.

No prior issues anywhere.

Battery checked alone and with jump starter, but still no voltage to lights or anywhere.

Not sure where to jump the solenoid. Still no voltage anywhere to the tractor. It's as if the starter cable was suddenly disconnected. Weird.

Maybe I should disconnect the battery and clean both posts. Don't think that will really help, but does rule out a couple things.

Thanks.

You have a broken cell.

How is that physically possible? Also, wouldn't the jump starter (set to 2 amps) also be a factor?
(Can also set the jump to 40 amps and 200 amps.)

does that tractor have a main fuse up front near the battery on the hot cable? 100 amp on mine (LS) that feeds the rest of the tractor. depending on how the fuse is fit into the set-up, could be corrosion, & too much resistance for amps to pass to the starter. When you were changing the fuel filters, any wires in your way that you pushed out of the way & maybe broke/shorted to frame? could also be internal cable problems if you had to muscle things around while futzing with the fuel filters.
