2) you laughed at crotchety old "Grandpa" that walked funny on "The Real McCoys".
3) you've become Walter Brennan.

Walter who...?
That's the last stage.

I'm 78 with osteo arthritis in every joint, doesn't stop me from doing anything. I just can't work too long and when I'm done

I feel like somebody beat me up with a baseball bat or I fell off of a roof.

We used to tape a smoke bomb with a short fuse and a firecracker with a long fuse to them and twist the fuses together, light it and off it goes.

Looked like engine trouble before it blew up.

The hobby store used to sell a "jet engine"...wonder if anyone remembers. All it was was a metal container about 2", maybe 2.5" long about 3/4" diameter the tapered top unscrewed. It had a small hole in it. It came with pellets, you'd put one in, screw top on & put a fuse through the hole. It had a metal bracket. You'd light fuse & snap it on bracket.
I mounted one to a plastic model car. A friend & I were at either end of the concrete porch so he could flip it around to me. It worked great until it melted through the car's roof!
