Tesla “Full Self Driving” Drives Through Small Deer — Doesn’t Stop Tesla "Full Self Driving" Drives Through Small Deer — Doesn't Stop - CleanTechnica
I believe it. Still think Tesla needs to add more sensors. The new computer complex should be able to help in this regard going forward. I do find it funny the poster left out one major thing about Dan Odowd and that is his company is a full self driving software direct competitor to Tesla FSD. Where is his super safe system?

The FSD does pretty well but ever vigilant is still the rule, That means more concentration on driving because you may have to take back control with less than a second or two to mitigate an accident, that is/can be more stressful than just driving the car. As I posted earlier the FSD tried to head into a school zone at 45 and a 35 MPH work zone as well. Those are fails and sending bug reports for a year and a half has Not resulted in any improvement. Tesla will get there eventually that day is not today.

That's one thing I noted in my friends car, when it tried to exit an intersection on a 45 degree angle while accelerating I to an Arbys lawn.

It's not something you'd expect, and since it's driving, you are less connected to and ready for a surprise event.

FSD has a ways to go.

But in almost every other way, I still find the Y in my all time favorite cars group. It is darn quick and Fast, handles better than most sports cars on the road (super responsive steering no body roll), hauls more for its size than any other, Is outstanding in snow, warms up in like 3 minutes on cold days and super efficient.

so that makes it false?
Makes it old news, but it supports what I have been saying. I've long said The Gas Station Model for EVs is a Fallacy. It doesn't work and the above article backs exactly what I have been saying.

Public charging is useful for long trips. Is seriously flawed for one's daily use.

FSD thinks a local 4 lane limited access highway is 35 MPH, posted 65. I've been deliberately activating my FSD demo before reaching this spot, then kicking it off and sending my report. Previously click the voice command button and say, "Problem report speed limit is 65 not 35." Don't know if that goes anywhere or not. Car silently takes it.

FSD tried to clip a curb turning right at an intersection.

No matter the latest is supposed to be better it still rockets off the line at traffic lights faster than other traffic, faster than I would.

When a light ahead is red FSD doesn't slow until the last minute then it brakes fairly hard. Can it not see that far ahead? Seems that it is overdriving it's headlights.

Gee, no human driver ever has done that! 😇🤣😇🤣😇
Didn't Gale just accomplish that as well ;)

Deer can appear out of nowhere and then stuff happens. I had 2 in the pasture this morning and 7 in woods of the bottom pasture. That time of year.

This deer was just standing stationary in the road. And yes humans will do this… I think FSD is hoping to be better than a human
