My SIL use to work for an ammo mfg - down in Clarkston, WA. She could buy bulk ammo for me. 9mm, 38 special, 357 mag & 22. It was unboxed but dirt cheap. It was the left overs from all the product testing they did.

Have not purchased a commercial round (except 22's and 17HMR's in years. Just got done loading 70 338 Lapua in 250 grain Bergers and gonna start loading 460 S&W in Starline brass with Hornady pills. I bet I have at least 5K 223's and 5K 308's loaded presently.

My favorite caliber is 338 Lapua. The round that shoots into the next zip code.

Ah, Ha - I still have one of the ammo bags that the bulk ammo came in. The company - CCI in Lewiston, ID not Clarkston, WA. Really - a very small difference. The two towns are on the either side of the Snake River.

My wife shoots sporting clays with me every week. I buy 10 flats of shells for her at a time (2500 rds). We take our target shotguns on road trips and explore, eat bbq, and shoot. She's getting so good (beats me sometimes... love it!) I'm the luckiest sob alive.
