That likely illustrates the principle of Fired On His Very First Day!
$100K + in damages!

I added two tapes for left side and right side reference on the windshield on my F-350 dually. She's a little wide in the hips!As a kid I remember Grandad had a small piece of white tape in lower left of his windshield which I asked what it was for. Tape lined up perfectly with edge of the road.
same here in Kanasta... accidents are now frequent in the summer and certain in the winter its just a matter of time... it has gone scary to travel. For use they caught 3 agencies of ''license/training'' firm flat out giving licenses out without training and lately caught a few of them training for the test and training for the test only so license are giving out after a few days. They pass each other left and right, without giving who ever is trying to pass a chance and both trucks are lock at 95kph, so now they pass inside towns (reduce speed limit) and in corners, will drive in the middle of the road so you can't pass some drive at 60kph in bad weather some will drive at 105kph, nether can't back up.Here in Europe, Eastern Europeans are taking over. Particularly the Hungarian Waberer is notorious, there are Facebook groups in which domestic truckers share the, sometimes plain stupid mishaps and accidents caused by Hungarian drivers that got their drivers license with the groceries.
good on your friendA guy I know has a small business with a warehouse.
He was having a trailer load of stuff delivered.
Truck shows up and stops in the parking lot.
Driver comes in ( a recent immigrant and holder of a driver's license ) and says they can unload their delivery.
Friend says not from the parking lot, back it into the loading dock.
The driver spent the afternoon trying.
Friend can drive 18 wheelers but made the guy try.
Ended up taking the load back and sending another driver the next day.
"Free trade" "Open borders" and incompetence on the so called authorities responsible for licensing requirements.I manage 1 post office and for decades no issues.
The last 3 years contract drivers have damaged the loading dock… sometime not even a week after repair.
Putin deadmen filled with concrete and they have been hit many times and replaced.
How can it go decades without issue and now so many?View attachment 1948604View attachment 1948605View attachment 1948606
for use, they purchase/got themself in charge of the licensing program, just look at Ontario Canada transportation minister and that might explain a few things ... so go figures.."Free trade" "Open borders" and incompetence on the so called authorities responsible for licensing requirements.
Just spend at least 30 seconds looking at these videos the guy loads up. Sadly, there is lots of content available...How can it go decades without issue and now so many?
