I have owned several stihls over the years and still own a 261cm and 026 Pro. I prefer Husky for any of the newer saws but the 400 sure is tempting!

You see the new Husqvarna 564xp to compete with the new 400.

Should be interesting and 564xp fuel injection.

If you want a light, easy to use top handle battery saw, get the Echo 2500T. Just got mine and I can use it easily with one hand. Light and very well balanced. Got mine on ebay. I have other echo battery tools and I am very pleased.

Weigh that thing as used please. Batt in b+c on with oil in it.

Are you the one that just bought a 2500 top handle saw? If so could you put on a scale with battery and b+c to see the weight as used.

I wish they would do the rear handle of that one. For wife
The rear handle one they have now has crap reviews compared to their 2500 TH one.

The TH 2511 is 8 ounces oe .5lbs lighter then this rear handle PHO.

Then ready to use full with 12" nano.

My clone 2511 too few ounces more then oem because of extra bar stud and nut.

Yes I will have to get my hands on a scale. I can tell you this, it is very light and well balanced and I have no problem using it with one hand even extended. The listing on it is claimed 7.3 pounds with the battery and oil full.

So it weighs more the the 2511T. I am not a fan of battery saws because I want to just refill and go verses waiting on a battery to charge. But I cut 100X more wood than the average guy does. The 2511T is so light and punches well above its class.

With both tanks full and b+c on 2511 will be about that too. Lighter nano set up

So 2511 TH 7lbs something give or take.

Crap forgot I have clone weight which is 2oz more then oem PHO because of bar stud and nut extra for 2.


Thats full as used 12" with little heavier 3/8LP 12: set up.

Thank you dead on with 2511 TH and rear handle. 7.3lbs = 7lbs 4.8oz by paper. Great.

One with nano 325 and other was with 3/8LP which is heavier set up and both 12"

What does 2500 come with? 325 nano or 1/4" mini micro.

From what Echo claims it is a bit heavier. I have used an older echo gas top handle and a stihl top handle gas. I personally just didn't think the 2500T felt heavy in any way. Very easy to use with one hand. Maybe its just the ergonomics and the balance of the saw. In a week, I've used it roughly 3 times now. Ran a partially charged battery dead twice but wasn't surprised by that. I was bucking up 6-10 inch dead sugar maple, ash and sassafras. Not a job you would do with a top handle saw but it was just fine. It will be on my atv or tractor anytime I go to the woods. I see myself using it a good bit around the garage as well.

I find this suprising they would put 3/8LP which is heavier set up n the echo 2500T.

@walhondingMF is that what it came with. Man a nano 325 or the 1/4" mini micro be the cats meow on that battery saw and less strain on it.
