Let’s see that Swedish rider in all it’s Orange glory!! Tell me what you like best, and what you like least.

Here is what I call Orange Crush! (Remember the monster truck?) I like everything about these machines, the traction, the precise control, the deck service position, etc.

I've got an older version of it and do indeed like it. I just got it this spring so of course, it was a used machine. I see some updates they've done to it compared to yours.

Mine's a very old Rider 155. Fifteen horses is sometimes not quite enough power, but that just requires slowing down a little.

What I like is the quality of the cut. Three blades, Bio Clip deck, and it just sips fuel. Not a gas hog at all. The best thing I like is that its been very durable. I've owned it since the end of 2002. Over 2500 hours mowing everything from 3 acre fields to finish cutting our 1 acre lawn. Minor repairs, the worst being replacing the 3 spindles once, and 2 sets of belts, during that period. Good maintenance and it should last a lot of years.

Thanks for sharing that awesome picture! I've looked at early pictures of riders on the Internet, none this good or detailed. It's also great to hear of the durability in this design. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to those that have replied an shared so far! Just thought I'd give this a bump and see if there is any more interest out there.

Had these for 3 or 4 years now.
My wife and I just use them for mowing.

Awesome set! I'm somewhat familiar with them, :) The only thing better than one rider, is two!! Thanks for posting/sharing!

Here is a rider that was for sale on eBay a little while back. It has dual front wheels. The seller claimed it was an available option for the rider.

I've owned one since 2015, new. Has about 150+ hours. Just bolted up 3rd front transaxle since new. 1st leaked due to palm of hand sized glob of white silicone jammed into axle shaft- direct from factory. Second leaked too within short time- by then Husky 'claimed' I was off warranty by about 10 days. I argued not if we consider the first transaxle should have never left the factory floor. Third one installed by dealer, and I was on the hook for 3.5 hrs labor at $67/hr. NOT pleased with how Husky did NOT stand behind their product. I did not expect the second one to leak so I missed when it started, but caught it and reported it later than if I had been driving it myself. I gave it to my wife, then sold my Scag Wildcat and bought a Pro-Z 160 Cub Cadet to replace the Husky when it breaks again to the point I refuse to fix it.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the mower. I just hate the low grade Tuff-torq Transaxles and crappy QC of Husky and TT.
You should go over to mytractorforum.com and check out the 200+/- page thread there about these mowers. That's where I first read about them. There is WAY more info on them than one could ever need.

Never seen that option, nor do I see any advantage to it. And, why if factory option does it have black wheels?! Doesn't compute, but I could be wrong. Fleabay, buyer beware!:confused3:
