No idea on your machine, but generally you can buy aftermarket from hydraulic shops or ebay, they may be as low as half price, but then they don't fit in the same location, they may have fittings in different positions, so brackets, fittings, time,.......... I'd probably try to push the dealer for a better price, try him for $400 a piece and see what he says, because you don't want to go knocking him on the forums! Also since it's only a few years old, perhaps mahindra corporate may come good with something when you complain about longevity, 700 hours per year is only 2 hours per day. Otherwise start looking on line to see what else you can find/adapt........

Is it the joysticks or the hydraulics? The joysticks pivot in a ball and pull on linkages that control the hydraulics. Have you checked the linkages and connecting pins? What are the symptoms that leads to a worn out joystick diagnosis?

Yeah, my first thought was these "heim joints". You can buy and replace these individually, from generic
sources. Hoe owners often fail to keep them lubed with an oil can of real oil (not WD40).

If the valves are shot, then it is gonna cost. Is it a Bradco hoe? Mahindra uses them as a supplier. Before
I paid over $500 per valve section, I would try to repair them, or buy a whole new stack for about $1K.

Supply Center (they advertise on here too) probably has them aftermarket.

I have not done this yet, but my single lever bulldozer control lever is $1000 just to fix all the roll pins and linkages, that is NOT the hydraulic control either...just the pins and linkages! Fooey with that, I can buy a controller new from Supply Center for $279. It has 3 handles instead of one like the factory, but jeesh...

Find a local hydraulic shop. They can usually rebuild any hydraulic component. Ask the loggers in your area which shop they use.

I just purchased the joystick setup mentioned above by jay4200 for my backhoe project. The trick is trying to figure out which direction in stick movement triggers which port. The directions are pretty awful.
