Tractor
Deere 4320
Just look delivery of my new 2015 4052r with the following options

-open station
-r4 industrial tires
-power reverser transmission
-H180 Loader mechanical self leveling
-HD loader bucket with bolt on cutting edge
-1500 lbs of rim guard in the rear tires

My first impressions are that its a real nice tractor and I like it alot. I am coming off my 2009 4320. The power is great and the loader digs hard packed ground well.

4052r PRO's

-seat is very comfortable and I love the arm rests
-the engine is quite compared to my 4320
-front axle design seems changed from my 4320 which ate up seals
-ground clearance seems a little higher than the 4320
-rear differential looks beefyer
-side work light really do provide some great light
-I like how deere concealed the hydraulics on the loader so its harder to rip hoses off
-hydraulics seem more responsive

A few negatives compared to my old 4320

-the power reverser lever was more substantial on my 4320 and easier to use.
-4052r hood is hard to see over compared the the 4320 (especially for loader work)
-wish the loader had a simple ball on the joystick rather than the hand grip style
-foot throttle seems flimsy
-oil pan on the yanmar looks cheap and thin

Gee, we sure apprentice your review. We are getting our $$ organized to purchase a 4052R very similar to yours. Only difference is a 4-in-one bucket and a HST transmission.

Can we ask why you went with a self leveling bucket?? We're not yet sure if we should order that feature or not.

I much prefer the self leveling loader. its not an expensive option, around $700. if you do a lot of loader work its worth the extra money. I believe the lift capacity is greater as well

Thanks! This info is golden and we made need to add the self leveling option. Please add your thoughts (good or bad) as you acquire more hours on that machine. Some goes for anyone using one of these new 40 series tractors from JD
