There - now you all can stop proclaiming that no one has ever said that.
The dealer sent someone by my place last night to evaluate my B7500/LA302 with 3pt rear-discharge mower. I ended up doing a deal right there in my driveway - a BX23s with 60" MMM should be on its way directly.
I suppose one could argue that I'm not actually downsizing - the BX has more HP and with the hoe attached it will certainly weigh more than the B7500. That's what I keep telling the little caveman in my head.
The truth is that as the property becomes more developed with landscaping and trees, maneuverability will become more of a concern. The smaller package, the ease of disconnecting the loader, and the MMM played heavily on the decision. The back field of 2 acres is now in a state that should be easy for the little BX to maintain with my old 42" Squealer.
It's hard to believe that 16 years have gone by. I hope the new unit is as trouble free.
