L Remote Kit

Hey all,
I've been trying to piece together the required parts to install the first remote valve to my L4740-3 (no cab). Just looking for some verification that I'm on the right track.


L8503: This kit is just the valve (and o-rings). I've seen a few different actual part numbers for the non floating valve, and I'm wondering if anyone know if they're compatible or interchangable. YW089-00100, TD060-98161, and TD060-96602. I think the 1st superseded the 2nd, and not sure of the 3rd...

L8505: This kit includes the levers, tubes, brackets and all hoses back to the QDs (everything but the valve)? Is this kit the same even if a floating valve were installed?

Lastly, anyone have semi-current pricing?

I called a dealer a couple of weeks ago for the remote price. If I remember correctly it was $710, $480 for one part $230 for the other. Each additional remote was $230 plus $240. If I would of wrote it down I could be a little more specific. If you go on to messicks and type in part number you should be able to price also. Hope this helps.

Prices are about what I expected. Messicks website doesn't know the numbers for the kits (e.g. L8303, L8305...), only individual parts.

Looks like calls to a few dealers are in store.

Messicks sent the following p/ns for the L4740-3 (HST). Looks like the levers have charged slightly from what I saw for other L series. Waiting on prices/availability, but :

Valve Kit, Floating (L8309):
YW361-00100 plus rings.

Valve Kit, non-floating (L8308):
YW362-00100 plus rings.

1st Remote Kit (L8335)
2nd Remote Kit (L8336)
3rd Remote Kit (L8337)
