B26 Mower?

Considering getting a B26. I have a few acres of dryland pasture that needs mowed a few times per year. I know the PTO HP on the B26 doesn't allow the use of a very large mower, but am wondering what a suitable mower would be? Don't need a finish mower.

Also looking at some used B21's in the area. I know they have even less PTO HP, but is there a mower that would be suitable for a B21?

I don't have to mow often, and don't care if it takes a little while longer than with a more suitable tractor/mower.

Having owned a B21 from new for 1800 hours and 6 years and now a B26 for 300 hours and 2 years I can tell you there is a huge difference in power, ergonomics and capabilities with a B26 vs. a B21. The B26 seat alone versus the thinly padded B21 tin bucket is worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars!

If there is a huge price difference between them and the B21 does everything you need then go for it. However, if you do a lot of loader and backhoe work you will find the added power and capability of the B26 a huge advantage. I dithered for a year or two on whether to get the backhoe thumb and that is a huge plus also on the B26. I should have spent the money for it at least a year earlier (as Powerstroke urge me to do) - it is invaluable in rocky country.

Another plus with the B26 is it comes standard with the Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA) on the loader. This is really handy for switching from bucket to forks or different style buckets. There is also an optional Quick Attach available for the backhoe on the B26 which is a real time saver too.

I can't help you on the mowing front as I have never had anything but the backhoe on the back of both of my machines.
