FYI .. Found; Cheap LS blue paint

Rust-Oleum Professional Safety Blue 7524. I got it at Lowe's.

To my eyes it looks like an exact match. Attached is a pic of my reinforced FEL doglegs that were painted with the paint.

It does look like a closer match than Rustoleum Sail Blue I have used.
Good job on the doglegs. I've seen a few others that have bent them also, mine haven't bent yet but if they do that's how they'll get fixed.

Looks close enough for tractor work. Besides, it's not going to be in a car show.

That looks real close to the old Ford tractor blue also. So far, the Ford/New Holland factory rattle cans have held up well with no fade in three years. Keep us posted on the Rust-Oleum.

I use it for NH blue. Nice color but it fades faster than the original paint on my TC30.

I had Sherwin Williams color scan my XR4046HC grill guard when I removed it to make modifications to it. The SW match is perfect as far as I am concerned.




My brand new LS 84" Rear Finish Mower got scarred up from shipping so had to repaint quite a bit of it. Hard to tell LS Factory paint from mu SW Match.





I'm in Houston today but will, scan the SW Recipe, when I get back to Ranch later today, and post it here.

Here's a Sherwin Williams paint code someone else posted.
Other members have closely matched with the following:
Rustoleum Safety Blue 7524 is also very close.
NAPA paint code 53-42109-00-A is another close match.

I showed that to the guy at my Sherwin Williams store after we came up with my recipe and he said this one would be way different than the new one we made.
