Trick from the 50's: fastened the fence to a Farmall Super A, pull the coil wire and hit the starter button. Wouldn't work with a diesel.

My local Kubota dealer told of a customer who left a big, articulated tractor plugged in 24/7. The tractor caught fire and he lost tractor and barn.

How about an engine block heater ? In winter it will prevent he rattling and shaking and big cloud of black smoke. Just don't leave it plugged in too long, maybe 30 min. in single degree temps.

I purchased a screw-in block heater manufactured by Kats for a 2016 L2501 Kubota. I cannot figure out where it goes. Am I blind or is the 2016 engine redesigned and Kats hasn't realized it yet ?

I recently purchased a Kats block heater for a 2016 Kubota L2501. It is the screw-in type with 3/4" npt threads. I cannot figure out where it goes. Am I blind or is the 2016 motor different and Kats hasn't figured it out yet ?
