I found this after searching for hours on the internet and my low gear up the middle makes sense after finding this.

Its almost like its a 4x4 not a 6. I am at a loss.

I have the same on a 1967 Ford 4110 LCG. My tractor originally had a SOS trans but someone swapped it out over the years.

If I am pulling my ripper in hard clay and need slow and low, I put the tractor in Low range and shift straight up the middle to what I though was 1st??? If I shift up and left its to fast.

Are the numbers on the side of the transmission any help in positively identifying the model of transmission? I searched them online and couldn't find a cross reference anywhere.

Yes it has two sticks. One gear shift and second is HI/LO
