UPDATE: as many of you have viewed the thread about my dilemma, I would like you to know that I had some time this afternoon, and I was able to get the tractor to start. I put the transmission lever in the reverse position, and it started right up. It also moves forward, but not backwards...

I hope that is not the case Richard001. I believe that something got misaligned, and the starter doesn't know that the selector is in neutral. I think I will try to start it with the selector in the reverse position.. Thank you for your responce.
