    Backhoe MT225S Backhoe Seat Question

    17 inches to center of sticks on mine , plenty of adjustment in either direction, the button to raise seat is a pain though, hard to push in , im at 250 hrs, no problems, good machine

    You could look at a deisel cab heater, i believe the can do up to 25000 btu

    Thanks for the info, i was hoping to aquire the thumb and install my self, 250.00 seems ok to me , just prefer to install my self gonna have to work that out with the dealer i guess, thanks again

    The spacers give plenty of room for the chains, with out them it was to close for comfort, six inches of spread really can be significant on even a moderate slope, and chains and loaded tires help to keep you there, on the slope that is. This small tractor with industrial tires is poor in snow...

    Backhoe NEW MT225S owner....mechanical thumb issue

    If you don't mind, how much was the thumb for the 1300 bh ,my dealership asked if i wanted it at the time of sale. I believe he said it was a addition of 500.00 dollars. I got a set of forks instead for the loader. I didn't think the thumb would be useful, and have changed my mind since then.

    I run European style chains on my mt225s,but i have 3 inch spacers on the rear which makes a huge difference in stability of the machine
