How to change fuel filter on NH 3930

Thank you and the others for the advice in trying to help me with this issue. But I still don’t feel confident that I can do this without screwing it up. I’m not really mechanically inclined. I guess I need to try to find someone who can show me how to do it. But, once again, thank you for...

How to change fuel filter on NH 3930

? Nowloosen the large cap at the top of the filter head and let fuel run out until a few bubbles are noted? Where does the fuel run out at? The cap looks like it has holes in the top of it. Is this where the fuel will run out? And do I initially want to see solid fuel run out of these holes and...

How to change fuel filter on NH 3930

I am past due on changing the fuel filter on my NH 3930. I have never changed it because I don’t really know how and am concerned that I might screw it up and not be able to start the tractor. I am aware that if you let t diesel run out of fuel or get air in the lines it can be hard to fix. I...

    Corner workbench

Thanks Eddie. Before I built my shop I asked you about the advantages / disadvantages of a metal building vs a stick built and your advice helped me decide to go with a stick built, which I’m glad I did. CH4Ohio - The product is called “smart siding” but it is textured , you just can’t see it...

How to tell if grease is going into zerk on bushog wheel

Trying to grease the bearing on my bushog rear wheel. I attach the grease gun and pump and pump probably 20 times and I don’t see any grease coming out. Do I have a clogged zerk or do I just need to keep pumping? If the grease gun seems to be pumping does that necessarily mean that grease is...

Another question about using the clutch

First let me say, obviously I didn’t grow up around tractors so forgive my ignorance. As I said I have a NH 3930. Been using it for about 10 hears to bushhog my grass pastures. It is level ground but I do have patches where the weeds or noxious grasses are thicker. Also has a some obstacles like...

    Is this normal?

So am I overtaxing the engine? Should I raise the cutter and go over it twice, slow down. Etc. I just assumed the engine could handle it

    Is this normal?

I have a New Holland 3930 that I use mainly for cutting grass in pastures. When I get in A particularly thick area, I notice that the engine will start to bog down and smoke comes from the exhaust. Usually I just hit the clutch to slow down until I get through the thick section and everything...

    Chaffed wire -how to repair

My NH 3930 was blowing fuses and I found a chaffed wire that had been rubbing on the metal hydraulic line. There really is not enough room to do much with this wire to repair it, so I just cut a small length of tubing to put on the wire so it could no longer touch the hydraulic line. However...

    Pics of new shop completed

i really haven’t noticed much noise but I haven’t really started using the shop yet. I think the insulation above the metal ceiling will minimize any real noise.
