Had several down in a storm about the same size. They chipped up fine.

Oregon 22TON Log Splitter Honda 190 Runs, sputters, dies. Occasionally recovers, then repeats.

I had a similar issue with a Honda engine on a chipper - someone suggested it was caused by resister plugs gone bad. Changed plugs and all was good. FWIW.

Husqvarna YTH22K42 Lawn Tractor Not Starting

First thing I did was check the brake. Set it, then reset it then set it so hard I was afraid I might break something. Got under the tractor to see if I could see a problem with the switch contact and it looked fine. At that point I thought, well it can't be the brake. The last time it didn't...

Went to start it tonight - nope. But thanks to tomplum a little tinkering with the brake switch and we were back in business. Thank you SIR.

Good stuff - thanks tomplum for that tidbit - should greatly narrow the search!

Husqvarna YTH22K42 Lawn Tractor Not Starting

I cannot find what vaccine GMC is offering - but I hope it doesn't spread to the Kubota! No roofers today so had a look. I had pulled the fuse to do the continuity check so no joy there. It's been sitting out in the sun for the last few days so on a lark I tried to start it. First click...

Husqvarna YTH22K42 Lawn Tractor Not Starting

I actually have had a similar experience with a fuse, so I did a continuity test on this one. I hate tracking electrical faults for the reasons you point out. I was moving some material for the roofing project today with the truck and after I had finished unloading and went to leave IT did the...

Husqvarna YTH22K42 Lawn Tractor Not Starting

I think it might be my age that might be why I didn't think of that! I will report back once I find out what's going on - roofers showed up so I have been distracted. Another little project on the go.

Had to chuckle at that - when you get accustomed to working on your own, the obvious answer somehow just doesn't occur. Yes, she is happy to sit (it's her tractor!!)

Husqvarna YTH22K42 Lawn Tractor Not Starting

Thanks to all for the replies. Brake is set and reset and locked on - that was the first thing I checked. Pushed in as far as it will go but I will try it again just in case. I don't normally touch the PTO but did check it was set it was off - it's not something I normally use. I did...

Husqvarna YTH22K42 Lawn Tractor Not Starting

Have about 40 hours on this, all hauling. Mower is not even mounted. Turn the key - nothing (and I mean Nothing - no click, no groan - nothing). I am thinking seat switch but not sure how to test it. Found 1 fuse and it's good. Battery shows 14 v on a tester (usually on a maintainer) - lights...

    Photo Bucket

When I am viewing various threads some pictures show as "Photo Bucket" with no real picture just a note saying I need to update some permissions to see them. I don't see anywhere in my profile to deal with this and I know I am missing some great photos. Help?

Tire Selection  Help finding Old Tires

I recently acquired a 1964 JD 110 lawn tractor as a project (but also for some light use). It came with 6 - 12 Ag rears which are serviceable but the better half would prefer Turf tires to minimize the damage. My investigations led me to believe a 8 - 12 was the original turf tire size and while...

New Guy here - question on110 blade attachment

Hi all, I'm new here and look forward to "meeting" you all. I recently acquired a JD 110 (an oldie but I couldn't resist) that came with a front blade. I am having a challenge figuring out the linkage to raise and lower it. I have one rod with clevis ends that fits the mower lift linkage under...
