I believe the third on your tractor as it is configured from the factory will not operate a brush cutter or other skid steer type attachment that needs a constant flow of hydraulic fluid.
Apparently, LaneShark sells an adapter (Full C-Flow Hydraulic Kit) to allow the continuous flow of hydraulic...
Wow! That totally sucks. Do you have a truck or anything you could tow it back to the barn with?
This is going to take a while to fix and doing it out in the field is going to be a major PITA.
I would think it would be worth it to get some tow straps and pull it back to the barn or call a...
With the first tractor I bought I learned there are no titles that come with them and transfer of ownership is not registered with the State. I was surprised at this lack of ownership documentation for something that can be extremely expensive. I documented that purchase from the other party...
I have an NX5010 and have wiped out 3 flasher / turn indicators on trees while mowing. I found some aftermarket protection / shields but they are a little pricey for just some sheet metal. So, I hacked my own protection and haven't lost a light since.
See the attached photo below. What I did was...
Wow! Looks like you would need a tank to pull that. I bought a new 40 hp gear box for my Bush Hog RZ60 for about $400 and new 1/4" x 2" blades were about $140. The previous owners beat it to death but it is still running now with the new parts.
This is how my Bush Hog RZ60 is framed on the rear wheel.
This unit is probably over 20 years old.
The whole A-frame section pivots up and down on the end bolts and you can adjust the height of the back of the unit with the bolt on the indexed vertical strap.
I have hit a couple of trees and...
I agree, the design looks weak at the top. The legs of the wheel Fram are too long without any support to prevent racking.
I would weld a piece of 1/4" flat steel across the top front of the wheel frame to act as a gusset for both of the vertical wheel mounts.
Make it as wide as you can and...
I have an NX5010 and I had a manual top link from my old tractor that I replaced with a hydraulic top link.
I just measured it and it strokes from 21" to 32" between the end pins. It works great for all my implements but if I had a flail mower I would have to get a manual one for that so I could...
I have an NX5010 HST with just the main gear shift lever for low, medium, and high. The gear shift lever started giving me rouble going into high and then after about a week it became completely disengaged just yesterday.
The gear shift lever has a roll pin at the bottom of it to attach it to...
Is your NX an HST or a manual transmission? The reason I ask is I have an NX5010 and this just happened to me. I have an HST with just the main gear shift lever for low, medium, and high. The gear shift lever started giving me rouble going into high and then it became completely disengaged.
The...
I found a tappet for sale at All States Ag parts that states "Tappet fits Kioti CK25 CK27 CK30 CK35 DK35 DK45 DK55 DS3510 DS4110 DS4110 HS DS4510 LK2554 LK3054 LK3504 E5500-15553"
The parts filter on their site does not even list the NX series tractors so apparently they don't sell parts for...
Kioti doesn't seem to do a very good job guarding the fuel lines under the tractor. I recently posted about damaging the fuel tank on my NX5010 while brush hogging. Kioti should have better skid plate protection underneath. Good luck hacking your tractor to improve the design. 👍🏼
I am looking at a Kioti NX5010 manual on eBay that is the galley proofs of the PDF and the pages have no copyright markings on them. They may have been cropped to remove the copyright at the bottom of the page. Can anyone verify they have a paper copy that actually is copyrighted?
Thanks MinnisotaEric. That gives me some good ideas. The U bolts over the frame rail is a good idea. I have some to those lying around and some plate steel.
