My local MF dealer has a repo that he just received in the other day. Currently the tractor is waiting for an AGCO rep to com out, take pictures and come up with an appraisal. I have taken a look at the tractor myself. It has some cosmetic scratches but seems to run fine overall. It is a little...
I see that some of the used tractors on Tractorhouse.com and other sell sites advertise that the warranties are still 'good' implying that as a buyer you would inherit the existing warranty. It is only on Kubotas that I see this advertised.
Is this true?
Are all warranties transferrable for...
Here is some comparison information that may be of help to you. I too have been looking at a tractor that can lift some sizable logs for a potential sawmill. I am trying to keep costs down so the smallest I am considering is a Massey 1736. But you may need larger.
I pulled the stock numbers for a few of the leaders. I ordered them from largest to smallest. The best performer and biggest is Kubota. The worst is Deere. AGCO is the smallest bet then again they only focus on tractors and tractors. Enjoy
Im in the same boat as you. The 1736 is a 'premium' tractor over the L3901. It has a number of features over the 3901 and cost increase accordingly. I like the 1736 and Massey personally. It seems that the Kubota has better short term resell value over the Massey. Here is a comparison I put...
Still on my journey for a tractor. I visited my Massey Ferguson dealer and was curious what was on the engine tag on the 2705/6e. Interesting there is a line on the stage stating "Carb replacement: 7 years or 5000 hours" This is for the DOC engine without DPF of course. So it does have to be...
Great advice Gents. I was on the road today and traveling past a Deere dealer I used to work with when I lived closer. Still with reach of my house and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not associated with a large chain. Net, great experience so I struck up a conversation on a 3039R. Good...
I like what the premiums have to offer with both the MF and Kubota HST drives. The feature of having an anti-stall guard is nice. I also like the station of the Grand and the Massey. The treadle or rocker pedal I am not a fan of, don't really hate it, just seems a bit awkward. Looking overall...
So as i have done more over analysis of my choices I just want to be comfortable with my purchase. Looking higher and lower and just wanted to share some of my work to perhaps save the time for folks down the line. (as it has helped me to look at older threads and not ask the same question) Here...
Ok, so I believe that I have narrowed it down to two machines for my first tractor. Massey Ferguson 2706e or Kubota MX5800. Here are the details on both:
Massey 2706e => TractorData.com Massey Ferguson 2706E tractor information
Kubota MX5800 => TractorData.com Kubota MX5800 tractor information...
I would hope and assume that someone from JD Corporate pays attention to this site. There is plenty of good information here from true blue customers. Anyway to the point. I have been in the market for a CUT for a while now. As I am a novice to this all I have been patient and doing all my due...
There is no urgency for the purchase at my leisure. Budget is flexible, just concerned as I started at 19K now looking at around 30K+. Mostly hardwoods (oak, hickory, and some clusters of short and Virginia pine) and the short needled pine are the weakest and most prone to fall. The land used to...
