Half scale replica of a John Deere H

Welded in pieces and started bodywork until my sander failed, I guess it was inevitable since the sander was almost 50 years old

Half scale replica of a John Deere H

Back at it again, since I raised the hood I now need to fix the hood and add metal in places that I originally notched out.

Half scale replica of a John Deere H

Finally after almost 3 years, l’m back at it. I had noticed that that I had placed the hood in the wrong location, should be above the frame not below it so I raised it up 2” which meant I had to raise steering wheel, also installed a bigger steering box

    Good morning!!!!

Good morning all, not use to getting up early anymore, love sleeping in being retired. Heading to my old job for shift coverage this morning, first time in more than a month. Just cannot turn down the money they pay me but it's nice when you can choose when you want to work.

    Good morning!!!!

Evening folks, so I didn’t get to work on the replica since I retired but I did make a few flags for friends and family. They are 2x4 make from pallets, made one for myself and the next thing I knew I had made over 20, had to stop as it was becoming a full time job[emoji2957] Will probably start...

    Good morning!!!!

Hello all, been a long time, thought when I retired in July 2020 I would then have time to keep up with this thread. It seems not to be the case, I have less time now then when I was working. Not complaining, enjoying retirement for sure. Hope all is well with everyone

    John Deere D110 Smoking

Seems like it is the head gasket, known problem with this style engine, a design problem with the lack of head bolts in one area. Cost of new gasket is about $25 and it is pretty easy to change
