The tech manual shows that that bearing is pressed onto the cam.The cam should just pull out if you have the lifters (followers) out of the way.

That is the rate of drop valve. Put something heavy on the three point hitch,and adjust that valve so it drops slower when you lower it.

Go to jdparts.deere.com and look up your loader.It is either a 75 or 80.Looks like 75.

I have been having the same problem,and after 2 new junk voltage regulators,I cut the plug off of one of them and wired it to one of these briggs voltage regulators. 2 blue wires to two yellow and red to red.It even fits in the same place on the fire wall. Just fixed it today and so far charging...
