    EA Attachments vs Homestead Implements

My EA box blade. They were the cheapest, heaviest blade (96") I could find. I'm new to using a box blade so I am learning but it has held up to an old stone area I was loosening up with the teeth. I have also ripped out some decent roots clearing a path through the woods. Gannon had a similar...

    I don't understand something.

I have an 80's (SAME) tractor and an early 00's (Farmtrac)tractor. I use each tractor for different tasks. The SAME is 75hp and the Farmtrac is 95hp. Since the Farmtrac is more comfortable to sit in for long periods, it gets used much more often. Also, having the SSQA makes it my goto for moving...

We're trying too. Part of the reason were spending a little more to accomplish the goals for the summer so we can do things with them. I really can't wait until they are old enough to help with chores. They help now but the moment they can safely use a chainsaw, life will be a bit easier.

If time is the most important criteria, then paying someone to get the job done might not be a bad idea. Then more research can be done to find the exact implement you want and if there is a wait time, it won't be so bad cause the job you "need" done now, will be taken care of. You need to value...

    EA Attachments vs Homestead Implements

If the "inferior" product works to get the job done then why bother ordering the "premium" one. Even if the grapple is banged up and rough looking, you would still be able to get a decent portion of your money back, at least at the auctions around here. The only issue I would have with a...

    EA Attachments vs Homestead Implements

I ordered my box blade from EA (took about 4 months). I needed something heavy for my tractor and the only options I found were EA and Gannon. EA was the cheaper one to go with. I got their 96" xtreme box blade. Gannon had some nice options but I couldn't justify the extra cost.

    EA Attachments vs Homestead Implements

Looks nice but would definitely need more protection for that hose on the cylinder when working with logs or brush. I also wonder how much of an annoyance it would be when mounted to the FEL bucket while trying to do dirt or small stone work.. It is probably cheaper to get this set up and find...

I can comment on the shipping (from EA) to here in Western NY as I received my box blade in June so its recent. It was an extra 118 bucks to have it shipped to my residential address. To add to that, the freight company botched my delivery day and wanted to reschedule. I said no, I'll be there...

It might be the shop that has it marked up? If they bought them in bulk they may have some wiggle room to offer a discount...

    EA Attachments vs Homestead Implements

If I recall right, shipping was "free" or included already in the quoted price they gave me when I got mine a few years ago. When I'm cleaning manure with mine, I wish I would've gotten something lighter and when I'm working with logs, brush, etc I am glad I got something this durable. I have...

Just tossing it out there, have you looked at Jenkins Iron and Steel? https://jenkinsironandsteel.com/products/Brush-Grapple/3/ I have a pretty heavy duty grapple from there and is well made. Might be a bit heavier than the other options but might be worth looking at too. Website says 3 week...

Anyone with airboss tires on their tractors?

I was looking at backhoes for sale and came across a Case 580K loader with airboss tires on the front. They looked neat so I had to look it up and see what it was about. https://www.airbosstyre.com/ Not sure if this is the only website as I literally just looked and figured I would ask here...

Magnetic mounting hardware for round baler control box?

The chain was oiled. We had just replaced it after the last field I did because the old chain was really worn out and kept popping off the sprocket. The 2 (80size) chains we had were slightly different and I believe the 1 master link we used didn't fully snap together although it seemed like it...

Magnetic mounting hardware for round baler control box?

Well after last night, I may ditch the control box and hook a toggle switch to the twine arm. The main chain on my new (to me) baler broke and jammed up while at full rpm and the tractor just came to a dead stop and shut off. I got the chain fixed but now the control box doesn't work. The fuse...
