    CaseIH 4210 trouble with reverse

It is a lever on the dash next to the steering wheel yes. I thought the parking brake was a band that went around something in the bowels of the rear end (purely based on what I saw on an older generation on YouTube). It still holds rock solid, would that be the case of what you described...

    CaseIH 4210 trouble with reverse

Hello! here's the situation... I unintentionally won an action on a CaseIH 4210 with a 2255 loader. 16spd shuttle (power?) shift. MWFD No Cab. Tractor has 3500 hours. It has a single hydraulic leak on the loader itself and then one on a line that runs from the hydraulic control valve back and...

    CaseIH 4210 impulse buy

I’m hoping just some simple service items can get it back into fighting shape. I think I can download a PDF for a reasonable price, but it’s all from websites I’ve never used so I don’t know if they are legit or not. Was hoping someone would have some prior experience.

    CaseIH 4210 impulse buy

Well I made an impulse buy and now need to sort out a new to me machine. It's a 1995 CaseIH 4210 4wd with a 2255 loader on it. Some basic information available out there already but does anyone have a owners manual or shop manual for this machine?

    JD650 Rockshaft control valve leaking

I cracked in the inlet to the rockshaft control valve today and that didnt seem to make a difference in the straining noise. I then rotated the rate of drop level back and forth, and I THOUGHT the pitch of the straining noise changed as I did it. System is an open center hydrualic system if that...

    JD650 Rockshaft control valve leaking

Anytime it is even the slightest bit lifted with weight on it but not nearly like it used to before I replaced the control valve and adjusted the handle (it used to truly scream, as the previous owner had been trying to maximize how high he could lift the 3 pt).

    JD650 Rockshaft control valve leaking

Hello experts! I’ve got a fresh problem and thought I would come back to this honey hole of knowledge. The rockshaft control valve on my John Deere 650 is leaking at the feedback rod. This had happened before just before my hydraulic pump twisted its shaft off. So I repaired the hydraulic...

John Deere 650 with bushhog qt1846 FEL very noisy

I have a Bushhog qt1846 front end loader on a John Deere 650. I have very little experience with FEL tractors but I can not help but feel like something is not quite right with my setup. Everything functions, but it is very noisy when operating/cycling any of the functions (in comparison to my...

3-Point Hitch JD650 3pt hitch no control over arms. Help!

I reassembled the loader piping from instructions I was sent on another thread. They were all correct. The difference in the control valve design has been explained. It turns out there was a part change, ST571526 to ST571527 towards the end of the models life. I have the xxxxx27 and my tech...

3-Point Hitch JD650 3pt hitch no control over arms. Help!

example of first contact and lever position What is odd is that on the parts catalog, or tech manual, I can't find reference to the screw above my plug (Item #1) nor is it present on any used valves on ebay. see picture

3-Point Hitch JD650 3pt hitch no control over arms. Help!

That is it yes. Lever down all the way, no contact, obviously no control when the lever is coming up until it makes contact with piston (Item#13), but once contact is made (maybe 1/2 - 2/3 of the way up the travel) its kind of a jerky motion until the lever is fully raised and the piston (Item...

John Deere 650 tire replacement thoughts

I hope the pictures attached. Not great ones, but they give you a sense (excuse the mess underneath, I spilled some hydraulic oil while doing a change). I've picked up about 100+lbs of tires in the changeover, and I may go ahead and partially load the tires. I'm actually slightly disappointed in...

John Deere 650 tire replacement thoughts

Hello All! my little MFWD JD650 is getting meaner and meaner as I continue to rehab it (with quite a bit of help from ya'll). It has recently been relegated to hard labor in the more untamed/swampy parts of my property as a 60" Woods Mow n Machine fell into my lap and has taken over mowing duty...
