When I shift into low range, it does not feel like it goes all the way in. I have tried stepping on the HST pedal, no change. When I apply a small load, it pops right out. Fluid and clutch free play are fine. Any suggestions appreciated. 1998, 17 hp, 430 hours

I just bought a 1998, B1700 HST, 430 hours. It will shift into low range, but almost always pops out when load is applied. Once, I held the shifter in place and moved the tractor forwards and back, and it stayed in low for the rest of the day. I haven't been able to do it again. It doesn't...
