    Temperature Check

Over the past week the low for our area (NW Oregon) hit 10 degs, which is pretty darn cold for this neck of the woods...Others? Don

    Hats

Up in the morning and looking outside you see it's gonna be a hot/bright sunny day...You've got a lot of field to work...What hat are you gonna wear to help keep the sun out? Cowboy? Ball cap? Other? (Canopies don't count):D Don

    Show of Hands

Do you feel better with your tractor dirty from working it, or clean and waxed? Any pics to back it up? ;) Don

    FEL Bucket Pin

While enjoying my work today with my BX23 I happened to notice the right side bucket curl/pivot pin was sticking out better than an inch from where it should be...I was able to get it back into position with some tapping on the end of it and then I got to looking at it closer and really can't...

    MMM vs Bush Hog

Been some good (as always) input as to which size bush hog to hang/use on the back of a BX...I have a BX23 with a 54" MMM...Tractor engines are rated at HP and rear PTO HP...Why do some folks recommend not using a 60" rear bush hog but the tractor will use a 60" MMM all day and night..? I may...

    Adding A Tach

Since my Kubota BX23 has no tach, I usually run it by "feel" but never max out the throttle...Would like to stay consistent rpm wise for my tiller and other implements run off the pto...Does anyone have an after market tach they've attached to their tractor that they would endorse? Thanks. Don

    Winterizing

Winter's just around the corner and my BX23 will see a few months of being alone in the barn...We usually don't get the heavy snow fall here in this part of Oregon...Other than starting it periodically, oil change, greasing it and making sure the anti freeze is good, any ideas/tips you've found...

    3PH Leak Down

On my BX23 I lifted my LP 72" landscape rake with the 3PH and as soon as I set the lift control to neutral, the rake comes back down slowly and doesn't stay in the up position...Too much weight, or does anyone know if there's an adjustment hydraulics wise for this...? Don

    Extension Hydraulic Lines

Has anyone had extension hydraulic lines made to couple up to your backhoe when it's off of your tractor? In other words, you could hook the lines up a few more feet away and run the hydraulics on your backhoe to make it that much easier to raise and get lined up with the tractor...Once the BH...

    Owie!

Happens from time to time unfortunately...While attaching my new landscape rake to the new 3pt. hitch on the back of my new (to me) BX23 and while attempting to hook up the tractor end of the new top link, things slipped and were sure to have my left hand pointing finger in between...Fingernail...

    BX23 3pt Hitch

Going to take the BH off my BX23 for the first time and install my 3pt hitch...Wondering if anyone has some good pics they could share of their BX23 3pt hooked up...Want to see how it attaches to the tractor...Thank you. Don

    ROPS Canopy

Am thinking about making an easily removable canopy/sun shade to attach to my ROPS for my Kubota BX23...Any ideas/pics out there from those of you who have fabricated one? Thinking it could be a little tricky because the ROPS folds and needs to at times when I'm working around apple trees in my...

    BH Removal

Going to take the BH off my BX23 for the first time...The prior owner had never removed it...The Bota has 200 hours on it...Any tips to help make it go easier? Add lube to any of the removal points prior to/afterwards? Thanks in advance...Hope you all had a nice 4th. Don

    Love My BX23

Hello all...This is my first posting...Used my new (to me) '05 BX23 backhoe yesterday to dig a 60' trench 3' deep to run a new electrical line...My Kubota worked so well it almost made me look like I knew what I was doing...Have removed 5 stumps since I purchased it two weeks ago and I'm very...
