If I were to purchase a magnetic block heater, where would be the best place to locate it? Oil pan? Have you had any success with these? I considered one for the frost plug, but I was worried it wouldn't fit. These seem pretty easy and possibly have other uses.

I have added a plow!

Well, I just mounted my plow to the front of my bucket. For those more experienced, anything I should anticipate for problems? It's easier to fix or tweak now while it is still warm out.

There are probably a million threads on this, but I can't find a single one. I am a new tractor owner and with my small engines I try to use premium (no ethanol) for gas. Is this also true with the gas tractors? I have a 3-cylinder gas in my JD 1020.

Anybody out there build one of these for the 20 series JD tractors? I just purchased a 1020 and live on hill. I would like to install one for my own safety. I would love to see what you have come up with. Particularly how it gets mounted to the tractor.
