    Kubota L 39

Specifically this. I replaced the "operator present" switch on the underside of my L39 when I had a similar issue. Note, this is different form the seat rotation position switches (tractor vs backhoe) and can be seen on the underside of the seat cushion when you flip it forward.

    Another converted plow project

Well, I had the plow frame already and it was either going to scrap, or would get sold attached to the Dodge when it goes. Making ears would have been more work and I'm plenty lazy :)

    Another converted plow project

Before starting mine I read through several similar threads here and on other forums. This was about as easy as creating your own implement gets. I had on hand the old Meyer ST 7.5 plow and frame from my old (being retired) 12v Dodge. I bought a 3/8 SSQA plate from Titan and a crossover valve...

    L39/BT1000 backhoe boom seems weak

Update for the forum - I haven't yet had a chance to swap the hoses as other tractor projects (converted truck plow), work, and home activities have been a priority. Last night I decided to use the BH to pull a 10" stump (dipper and bucket work were working fine) and after using the hoe for 15...

    L39/BT1000 backhoe boom seems weak

Sorry for the delayed reply. Too many active projects and life gets in the way. I am thinking I need to swap these hoses to reverse the boom operation on a BT1000... How much of a mess will this make? The BH doesn't have QC fittings, is there anything specific I should know before I move the...

    L39/BT1000 backhoe boom seems weak

I don't have a BT1000 manual, but I have a BH92 manual and I have watched several videos regarding the process, and I do believe I am approaching the reattach process correctly. If someone has a BT1000 manual and wants to scan me the section I would be happy to try the process exactly as...

    L39/BT1000 backhoe boom seems weak

Nothing appears to the eye to be bent, and the cylinder does operate, its just not very strong. I pushed on a 3" dead maple (very dead) with the boom and it would extend and offer maybe a couple hundreds pounds of force and then give up. The dipperstick had no issue pushing the same rotten tree...

    L39/BT1000 backhoe boom seems weak

Yep, I checked all fluids before I ran the tractor (it did need about 1/2 gallon of hydraulic fluid to reach the top tick). The stabilizers are working as they should and have no issues either lifting the tractor or aligning the backhoe to the support frame. Its that once it is in the lower...

    L39/BT1000 backhoe boom seems weak

Hi All, Its my first post, so please be kind :) I recently acquired a new to me Kubota L39 with about 600 hours. Its been fantastic learning the machine and using it at the house for some work on the drive, leveling some spots etc. Earlier this week I garnered up enough ambition to go through...
