Excellent post and too often overlooked by all of us because "it'll never happen to me".
We can't prepare for every eventuality but at least having something for the main type of hazard you are facing in a particular area is a start. I worked as an EMT for many years and having an emergency...
That was my interpretation of that rule also. It allowed those with 5th wheel RVs to tow a boat or similar. Having two vehicles in tow hooked to a temporary hitch just doesn't look secure to me. I always assumed those were on the way to the border. Not uncommon to see the tow vehicle broken down...
I don't know if it is or not by the letter of the law but I see a lot of those combinations heading west on I-30 and south on US 59. It looks sketchy to me but maybe I am just being sensitive about things like that.
I sure hope they have not given up here. I've loosely been in the market for a new tractor for some time. The Summit has checked all the boxes for me and part of that was the interaction on here. I am remaining hopeful. I still want one when I get home.
I live in a rural and see that way too often. I don't know if there is way to make them understand there is a real purpose behind the meaning of the symbol.
Just my $0.02.
The TX-25 is sized right for those looking for a bit more lifting capacity and functionality than can be found in a typical tractor of similar size. I hope they will connect directly with those usually in that market segment. I don't need the pseudo security of needing to buy only...
Yep, I would really like to see some input from them here. I think reaching out to the smaller acreage owners and home users of this tractor was/is a good thing. I hope they will rekindle their desire to do that here.
I have thought the Summit was a good looking tractor since I first saw on GWT YouTube channel. I still do. I have been wanting one since then. My local farm store actually has them in stock now. I was hoping to see a little larger version but really think the TX 25 is the right tractor now...
Yep, what he said @Hay Dude (y).
Buying used equipment is always about doing your due diligence. Like others here I'm sure, I have bought new and used equipment. Buying used just means you have to look at the equipment closer to check for wear or damages. If you are looking to buy for resale...
I will watch it way more carefully. It was always a dream to do one of those but my life and work got in the way.
I appreciate the heads up on the new format. I will be checking.
Thanks
Yep, I have followed it for years. I ride a lot of miles annually but don't know if I would have the stuff to even get in to something like that. I didn't notice it was starting in Iowa this time.
