Would a zero turn be faster than a B2601?

Bob 123 said on his first statement: "When i mow i do not back up i mow at a angle to reduce the wasted time backing up." If he master how to mow with his B2601, What's the need to purchase an equipment that will be payoff in 6 to 8 years ? To safe $300 to 500/year of his time ?

Bob 123 You ask about cutting the mowing time at half, but that depends where you are located. If you are in Florida you can cut your yard every 2 weeks in winter, and every 7 or 8 days in the other seasons. That's about 46 times per year. But if you are in the north, where you have cold...

Why is Weight The Only Solution Being Offered To The Problem Of Traction?

I guess you misunderstand my point, what I'm trying to imply it's that weight and a narrow tire with a more aggressive bite, added (as needed) to the actual regular rear tires R4 or other, could be the difference to get better traction and no need to install same size double tires, chains or...

Why is Weight The Only Solution Being Offered To The Problem Of Traction?

"If you need more traction ...it made more sense and was more cost effective to just move up a size or two to a bigger machine" Excuse me, I just sent a youtube title Fold-Out Cleats Improve Tractor Traction, were not only one but two 4x4 tractors, (that probably both has double the draw bar...

Why is Weight The Only Solution Being Offered To The Problem Of Traction?

Old tractors used to have some kind of rims add-ons to help rear tires traction, besides the added weight it had an on/off manual spikes system. Who knows why this idea disappeared or has been replaced all together by other more heavy and expensive track systems. Just thinking, if liquid...

What attachments should you use on a tractor to clear land.

What attachments should you use on a tractor to clear land.

Reddogs, you mention something about "whatever the fires left behind" and a picture of a wildfire title (Naples Fire). I checked out where the fires took place in Naples and they were near the city, along Alligator Alley where the plots of land are around 115 acres, and in semi developed areas...

What attachments should you use on a tractor to clear land.

I'm planing to assemble a 6 way dozer, (2 yes 4 no) using a lite blade (that I will reinforce) and a old iron crawler that comes with hydraulics, all at a fraction cost of a real one. It should work to move tons of sandy soil, clear some land and pull a 6 ton dump trailer.

What attachments should you use on a tractor to clear land.

That's the way to go around the farm with your garage/shop AC tools. To replace using a gas or a PTO generator you can install between the ROPS a 4Kw portable hydraulic generator. It works at 5 GPM, 3000 psi max. but could be dropped lowering the output a little. They quoted me some time ago...

Correct, and it's very handy with the cargo net.

The winch it's installed at the tractor's front, between the bumper and the "blue hood", and the position to spool the winch cable in when the loader is down, the bucket's teeth are anchoring the tractor on the soil and the front tires raised. The backhoe stabilizers could be dropped if needed...
