Entry level California home costs up 88% since 2020.

No, I’m saying it all went to s@#$ because he moved there and that was just one more thing that turned to s@#$ for the family. He is appalled by that and so was his wife. And who could blame them, it’s an abomination and just another way our young are getting screwed up. Maybe his son was more...

Entry level California home costs up 88% since 2020.

Tell me !!! I told him not to take that job transfer, I told him the money they offer you will evaporate there. His wife took the daughter back to TN, but the son now wants to be a girl and demanded to stay there. It’s somewhere around LA, his work is approx. 20 miles away and takes about 7...

Entry level California home costs up 88% since 2020.

I know a person that recently moved to CA and he told me his mortgage is for 50 years. He stated that is not uncommon there. Geez, he’s in his late forties. He got a promotion with his job and moved from Nashville to CA, he commutes 7 hours a day, his wife left him and went back TN and one of...

    Best string trimmer string.

The Echo speed feed head is the best thing since sliced bread. I guess I’m bias too cause I think Echo trimmers are the best trimmers you can buy. I use Black Diamond .095 line and yes soaking old line in water really does work. I’ll probably get some heat from this but Stihl stuff ain’t all...

    Mowing JD X300 transmission problems

Just pulled the K46 tranny and changed the oil with 5-50 synthetic again. The fluid looked pretty clean and didn’t smell burnt. The magnet was clean too. My habit has been every 2 years to change the fluid. Which amounts to around 150 hours. The 2010 X300 has been reliable for the most part...

John Deere STX 30 lawn tractor

Wow, I had an STX 38 that I bought used for $200 and used it for 33 years. I gave it to a friend that fell on hard times and couldn’t afford to buy one. He is still mowing with it, lol. I then bought a new X300 that has been a real good mower thus far.

    Ignore List

For me it’s 2. It just makes the forums more enjoyable. When every post is an argument or copy and paste from google or wiki. Can’t fade it, so I ignore them.

    Dead battery

Battery maintainers work for me, plus I take my mower battery in the house in the winter and put a maintainer on it. Freezing cold weather will do them in too. I‘m on my 5th year with my mower battery. I think that’s pretty good.

    335 reverse safety switch

On my X300 that switch was located near the reverse pedal. All I did was move the switch away from the pedal so it did not get engaged and that solved that issue. Easy peasy. I also disabled the seat kill switch and the brake kill switch.

    Recommend A Pressure Washer?

I bought a Rigid brand gas pressure washer. It is a 3000 psi and has a two cylinder Subaru engine on it. Which I thought was odd, didn’t know Subaru made small engines. Quality made and has a brass CAT pump on it. I know what ever kind you buy it needs to have a brass CAT pump on it.

I have 1979 Chevy stepside that I bought new, it’s 45 years old and still going. I have an 2002 Yukon that’s 22 years old and still purrs like a kitten. I just gave my great nephew my 1991 Isuzu pickup which is 33 years old. It’s too soon to tell but there is no way in hell an EV will go that...

    An EV??????`

You don’t get it do you. My point being I didn’t have to stop in Ft Smith, didn’t have to charge arriving in OkCity, I didn’t have to charge again coming back through Ft Smith, I didn’t have to charge when I got home. Hell I ran errands after getting back home to the store and bank. I finally...
