    dealer tweak this and that?

OK, I just read on another forum about a good dealer calling all the time with the news that they fixed or found additional issues with a tractor, quite a few of them. So here is my questiion. Do I need to take my 2003 B7800 in for "regular" checkups? I plan on doing the grease/engine oil...

Iknow it will fit, my question is when I'm mowing will the chain &turnbuckle unit still keep my mower from swaying in reverse. I mow in reverse a lot. I can buy (for more...

    tire pressure with filled tires?

Hi, I have 3 tires filled. I noticed that the filled tires don't have any readable pressure. Actually one did and it was low so I added too much air, had to let it out and only got fluid to come out. The other fluid filled ones didn't read any pressure at all. Do I have a problem? Tires look...

    mower bolts turn?

Hi, I ran over a quality piece of nylon string yesterday and it promptly wraped around my finish mower shaft and melted. So, I tried to remove the blade but I don't know which way to turn it. Anyone know? What is the proceedure for blade removal? It is a Mid-West 5' finish mower. I didn't get a...

Hi, I'm going to lay a water pipe from my house to various beds. The route is upslope but not directly. I'll go here and there to water various spots on the way. using loader for footers?

Any thoughts on using a loader for digging footers? I have a 24x36 barn coming up. This will very likely be the only time I need to dig footers. Got this B7800 tractor sitting there , seems a shame not to use it if I can. Footers dont need to be very deep here in SC , only a foot or so. thanks...

    finish mower bouncing help

Hi, I have a 5' finish mover that has a bouncing problem. The real wheels (back wheels) seems to bounce and spin while mowing. (I am mowing at high speed) This causes them to rip out grass when they hit. I put a good bit of slack in the top link but it still bounces and spins. Should I take...

HI, I've got a wall to build and then a barn to put on it. I'll need to use fill dirt and compact it. Problem is I don't want to rent a compactor over and over. Can I use my tractor and pack it down well enough? It only weights about 2,000 lbs. thanks, bret w

    footers with a loader?

Hi, I'm going to build a 24x36' barn and hate the idea of digging footers by hand when I have a nice little B7800 tractor sitting there. It has a loader, also a boxblade. Any way I can use either to dig a footer, without breaking the bank? I don't want a back hoe attachment. thanks, bret w
