    SICKLE MOWER VS FLAIL

So I am getting a flail but I have one question. Do I need a cab on the tractor for safety?

    SICKLE MOWER VS FLAIL

yea I saw that sickle mower. I am leaning to the flail to eat up the roses. Will I need an enclosed cab for safety? Brush hog mentioned it. I have dug up rose bushes for years with a back hoe and they grow back in no time. Is there a brand of flail mower that is not made in China? Or at least...

    SICKLE MOWER VS FLAIL

I have a Kubota L3800 and I am looking for a side mower. This is for cutting wild rose bushes and small saplings. along the driveway. I can find posts on flail mowers but not on sickle. Also what brand mowers are good? I have Titan log grapple, forks and a bucket so I am thinking of buying from...

Chickens - How Cold Is Too Cold?

I've had layers for 15+ years and yea I feel bad for them in winter. But as said they slow down on the laying and they roost up together and fluff up to stay warm. Be careful with electricity in a coop. I was on another site years ago and a lady lost a barn because of lights catching the cob...

    CIRCULATOR PUMP REPLACEMENT

Well I found it Taco Viridian 1816 variable speed 4-44 watts. I even got a cartridge to rebuild it when it goes. I got lucky that it died late march and not in February at - 5* , prime time for my OWB to break down. For now I'll fix it and shut down for the season.

    CIRCULATOR PUMP REPLACEMENT

The circulator is not intermittent unfortunately, this is on a outdoor wood boiler circulating 24/7 . It adds up over time, so now that I need to change it I'm looking at the options for a more efficient one. Thanks for the link and info, good place to start.

    CIRCULATOR PUMP REPLACEMENT

I have an outdoor wood boiler. After 8 years the Taco 009 circulator died. I am looking to find an energy efficient replacement. The height it has to pump is around 14 feet, boiler to the basement. I use a heat exchanger so I don't need to pump up three stories. I'm just trying to lower the...

That was my thought but the plumber said it was never legal. As I recall the stove and dryer were hooked up and all they did was put a pressure gauge in the line and wait 24 or 48 hours to see if it changed and then it passed. But it has been over 20 years.

They do not come with fittings now. In fact they hid it behind a plate. 1/2 npt is to big and did not fit the gas connection. I wish I had access to a Ridged pipe thread machine, with that I could make it smaller to fit. But I am getting someone tomorrow to hook it up. Then I don't need to worry...

We just got a new gas range. The old gas range had copper tube with 3/8 flare fittings. The line was kinked so I got a new BrassCraft gas connector kit 60" long 1/2" line. The Range has a hook up fitting from the regulator with a .685 ID. The range claimed it has a 1/2 npt fitting. I saw a...

    ceiling fan light trouble

I have 2 new Hunter ceiling fan light combinations. We previously had Hampton Bay fan/light combos. We have dual switch 3-way wiring, and we could turn on the fan or lights separately from the top or bottom of the stairs. Now to turn the light on the fan’s switch needs to be on. The light switch...

CEILING FAN LIGTHS BLINK THEN DIE IN TWO MONTHS

I looked at the pull cord switch and saw " 6a 125vl " stamped on it. I assume this might be voltage limiter. It also has " 6a125vac " on it. Led 100w bulbs draw .83 amps according to what I read. So I hope bypassing the light switch fixes this . But does anyone know for sure what 6A 125vl...

CEILING FAN LIGTHS BLINK THEN DIE IN TWO MONTHS

I had seen the youtube videos showing the current limiter but mine do not have a part that looks like that. I guess I'll just replace the sockets and eliminate the light pull cord. 20' from the floor so I don't see using the pull cord.
