small trees can be dangerous too.

I'm sure most people know this as I should have but I was pushing some small blown down trees out of my wood road using my tractor loader bucket that still had roots in the ground. Maybe four to five inches in diameter and a few feet off the ground, parallel to the ground. Well they got under...

    Kubota B2620 HST oil change

Anyone changed the HST oil on a Kubota B2620 lately? Coming up on 400 hours and the manual is not that clear. How many drain bolts and is there a screen to clean in there somewhere? Any info from somebody that has actually done it appreciated. I think mine is an '08 if that makes any difference.

    snow and a B2620

Don't design a house with two intersecting metal roofs on the north side of a house in snow country. Heavy stuff too.

    Block Heater question

Is it ok to have the block heater plugged in with the engine running? it was so cold here, 10 below zero, that even after plugging the block heater for over an hour the engine just wouldn't accept any fuel and would only idle with no power. Kubota B2620. Finally I plugged the block heater back...

    Changing HST fluid in B2620

B2620 owners that have serviced their own transmission - In addition to the spin on HST filter have you found a suction debris screen or magnetic plug that needs to be cleaned? Also how many drain plugs did you find? My manual is very unclear about all this with really lousy pictures too.

    B2620 Paid Off

Paid off my 2008 B2620 today. I got a QA, larger bucket and forks for the loader and it's been a hard working little tractor and I've been able to do a lot around here in the past 4 years including rock moving, landscaping, firewood logging, snowplowing and road grading. It ain't just a lawn mower.

Cleaning up this winter's blow downs

More homeowner work with the B2620 and forks. Had some White Pine come down this winter as usual. Loaded tires.

bringing in the wood with B2620

Finished stacking the wood for next winter today. The B2620 has been a great little tractor. That's the 5 foot "light" materials bucket on there. Four wheel drive backing up that steep little hill with that weight on the front and only a blade on the back.

Grading  First paying job with B2620

I did my first paying tractor job today since I have owned my little B2620 tractor. I tore down a shed and am building a new one for a customer about 2 miles away. The ground was uneven and messy and there were some rocks and footings left I could not move by hand. I tried to get a guy...

    Diesel fume headaches?

Anybody else get headaches from diesel fumes? Seems like almost every time I work with my tractor I wake up with a headache. I'm trying to figure out if it's the diesel fumes or what. I've taken to turning it off rather than letting it idle when I'm working on the ground near it for more than...

    truck out - tractor in

Well I decided to move my 08 tractor into the garage today and my 05 F150 out. At least for the summer. The tractor was sitting in the sun, under a tarp but still exposed bucket, cylinders and tires. I've seen what that has done to my friends L35 (dry rot tires and faded paint). Maybe it will...

    Rock digging

Got this prize out of the ground in a very tight spot. Don't think the loader would do to much more but if I could have gotten it to slide back further it would have helped. I'm pretty impressed with the 364 loader though, it did good.

    backsaver

Picked up my back savers today. Last summer I worked with the rocks on my property with just the bucket but pushing a 300 - 400 lb rock into the bucket is hard on you. For this one I didn't even get off the seat which is unusual for me. Picked it out of the pile with the forks. The forks are...

Snow  B2620 with 60" snow bucket

B2620 with QA and 60 inch "light materials" bucket. Works good with snow and faster than the 50 inch bucket which has become my "dirt" bucket.
