Got everything apart and still questioning why silicone as a gasket vs. anaerobic, which is better for machine flanges. I'm ready to put everything back together and not sure what gasket to use to mount the mid-pto or the rear PTO. Any ideas? Service manual says one thing and the parts list...
Got it apart. Was loaded with gray silicone. Everything looks great except fork bar doesn’t move up selector rod. Should be a simple fix from here. Thanks for the comments.
Thanks. I was able to slide it out as shown. It doesn’t state to remove it. The biggest issue I’m having is with removing the housing. Looks like I need to beat on it with a 2x4.
Had an issue while bush hogging. After hitting stump rear PTO jammed on. Was able to get it stopped by engaging clutch. Took bush hog off and noticeEd mid PTO arm shake broke. I have the mid PTO repaired and ready to reassemble but rear PTO still stuck. Rear PTO arm shift will not turn but...
