    Fixed - Grease zerk replacement.

Fixed! I took the pin out and used a wire coming in from the back side to clean the area out. A couple times of doing that and using the piston grease zerk cleaner and it finally broke loose. Below is a photo of the zerk. Taking the pin out was not too difficult. Has a cross pin holding the...

    Fixed - Grease zerk replacement.

Now there's something I didn't think about. Hell, I didn't even know there was such a thing. Since I can't turn it, I expect it will be very difficult to pull out. Think I'll ask at my dealer. Thanks!

    Fixed - Grease zerk replacement.

I don't think I explained the part correctly. What I called the "quick attach piston" is that pin which has an angled base. It is moved up and down when you raise and lower the levers to connect a bucket or grapple. I've tried manually putting grease on it and working it up and down. Didn't...

    Fixed - Grease zerk replacement.

Got a grease zerk that won't take grease. I've got one of the tools that you put oil in and tap the piston to clean the zerk. Although it has worked on others, it has not on this one. I've been unable to unscrew it using wrenches and, next a pair of vice grips. It is the zerk to grease the...

Buying a ZTR, what should I look for, or avoid?

With about 4 hours of mowing time now, I am very satisfied. To me the ride is good, and I cut some very rough areas...just to see. If I had it to do over again, I think I'd make the same choice.

Buying a ZTR, what should I look for, or avoid?

After a lot of research, I bought a 54" Kubota 422KW. Main factors: The Kubota dealer has treated me very well with service for my tractors - Good people The transmission is a 3600 series Excellent suspension seat An equally priced and comparable Exmark had a 3100 transmission. I'm amazed at...

    Reclaiming Gravel.

I've looked at those more than once. Would love to give it a try but they are expensive.

Awesome suggestion. That should tell me a lot. Thanks!

    Reclaiming Gravel.

I think the blade is 8'. I'll try shortening the top link. Didn't think of that last time. Thanks.

    Reclaiming Gravel.

What a great idea! The thickness of the 2x6 would also help prevent it from digging in and moving dirt as well as the gravel I want it to move. Thanks.

    Reclaiming Gravel.

My issue with my rake is that too much gravel goes between the tines. That blade attachment looks like it would help in that regard.

    Reclaiming Gravel.

I do the same to get gravel "back to the surface" This question, however is about getting it moved from the sides back onto the top.

    Reclaiming Gravel.

Current blade is too long to turn around when on my tractor (I inherited it when I bought the farm). Current blade is so heavy duty that my welding friend said "Don't ever get rid of that". Perhaps I should try shortening the top link to make mine less aggressive?
